The Detroit Children's Business Fair (DCBF) provides a yearly opportunity for young entrepreneurs to show off their creative talents and sharpen their business minds. In 2017, I was tasked with rebranding the DCBF and redesigning the website. Additionally, I wanted to create an introductory video to highlight the kids and help promote the event in the future.
I wanted to make the intro video encapsulate what the event was all about and what better way to do that than have the kids explain it themselves!​​​​​​​ All of the kids did an amazing job in front of the camera and the fair itself was a resounding success. There were quite a few limitations with the video equipment and location and but I'm proud of what we ended up with.
The DCBF website had a similar requirement: Match the fun, creative energy of the event and attract both kid entrepreneurs and shoppers. The layout highlights the important event details while carrying over the fun and authenticity.
